Tuesday the 23rd of August, 2022, 7pm, Live and on Zoom
We are pleased to announce our 4th Birthday Bash & Book Festival Literary Salon, where we will be having Conversation, Cake, and Cabaret!
Our first Salon took place in August 2018, and since then we’ve been through a pandemic, expanded to include an online audience, published a book, and we continue to hold a Salon every month. This is surely worth a celebration, with wine, words, good company, and entertainment!
Our friends at the Outhouse pub have granted us exclusive use of the venue, so we can spread our celebrations over the evening. Weather permitting, we will be in the outside courtyard, starting with a wine reception, then with a discussion featuring writers appearing at this year’s Book Festival.
After birthday cake and mingling, there will be musical entertainment and amusement – with raffle prizes and pizza thrown in – lasting until 10pm. After this we can continue partying inside.
The Outhouse is fully accessible, including toilets, at ground floor level. The upstairs Function Room has limited accessibility.
If you cannot be with us in person, the main part of the evening will be live-streamed on zoom.
We’d be delighted to see you – we guarantee an entertaining evening!
