Book Week Scotland Salon – Reminder

We have Good News for this weekend. As you know, our Special Guest for next Tuesday's Salon from Your Home – Book Week Scotland Edition (that is a long title, we know), is writer and storyteller, Fiona Herbert. Fiona’s chance encounter with Richard Blair (the son of George Orwell) while on holiday in the Western Isles, led to a storytelling project, Corryvreckan - Inspiralled Tales.

Fiona performed this work, collaborating with musician Emma Durkan, in this year's Scottish International Storytelling Festival. The show is STILL available to watch online: free streaming has been extended to 30th November. https://sisf.online.red61.co.uk/event/913:3735/

Why not watch it, then book a ticket for week’s Virtual Salon (short title) which is also free. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/literary-salon-book-week-scotland-edition-tickets-126155940815
We’ll have a story exclusively told for the Literary Salon, a pre-recorded interview to share, and Q&A, followed by a general chat about stories.

The formal part of the evening is from 6 to 7pm, and people are welcome to stay in the Zoom to chat over a glass of wine for longer. Wine isn't provided online, since this is the ‘Literary Salon from Your Home.’ Other beverage choices are entirely up to you!

Here’s a sneak-preview of Fiona in action...
