August Salon From Your Home

August Salon From Your Home - Book Festival Special.

Dear all,

I hope this find you well and coping without our usual Edinburgh August of Festivals and Fringe. To try and make up partly for the absence of our usual August routine we are continuing to host our online Salon From your Home. We hope though, that you are enjoying the Book Festival in its new form.

This month, to celebrate the online Book festival we are going to do something a little different. We are going to attend, en masse, one of the EIBF events and hold an online chat afterwards. We think it will be a great idea to experience together one of the great events being put on by the wonderful people at the EIBF, which itself has a Q & A afterwards, and then we can assemble in a Zoom meeting to catch up and share news and our thoughts on the event. Of course, you are welcome to come along whether or not you make to the EIBF event.

The event is Retelling Tales with Joseph Coelho, Juno Dawson & Kiran Millwood Hargrave.

I must also remind you that the deadline for Submission for our Literary Salon Anthology is approaching. Submissions are flying in, so be sure to get yours in soon. You will find details here

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday; and receiving your submissions too. It is also our second birthday, but as there's no party we'll have to say no presents, (this year, anyway).
